CO2 Lift Carboxy Mousse Moisturizer

$260.00

Why I Love It

This is one of the more unique moisturizers you'll find at EB Skin. It's from the makers of the CO2Lift mask—the carboxytherapy treatment we use in the treatment room—and it brings some of that CO₂ technology into an everyday skincare product.

And the texture is just fun. It comes out as this light, airy mousse and spreads beautifully across the skin, giving you a lovely veil of hydration without the weight of a traditional cream. It absorbs quickly and layers effortlessly with the rest of your skincare, which makes it very easy to find a place for it in your routine.

But don't let that lightweight texture fool you. This is a surprisingly sophisticated formula. Along with carbon dioxide, you'll find hydrators and skin-conditioning ingredients like squalane, glycerin, hyaluronic acid and amino acids, plus vitamin C derivatives, vitamin E, green tea, licorice, centella and an extensive blend of botanical extracts. The formula also contains gentle amounts of exfoliating acids and retinol to support smoother, brighter, healthier-looking skin.

Who is it for?
I especially like Skin Mousse when you want hydration without heaviness. If you're oily but dehydrated—that frustrating combination where your skin produces plenty of oil but still feels thirsty—this may be all the moisturizer you need. If you're dry or mature, think of it as an additional lightweight layer of hydration underneath your regular moisturizer.

It's also a nice choice when you're looking for more than a basic moisturizer and want hydration plus ingredients that address the visible signs of aging, dullness and uneven texture.

How to use:
Apply 1 quick puff to the face and neck after cleansing and serum. You can use it morning and/or evening. In the morning, follow with sunscreen. If you're dry, layer your regular moisturizer over it.

EB Skin Tip: This is one of my favorite products for the person who says, “I'm oily, so I don't want a moisturizer—but my skin still feels dry.” Oily skin can absolutely be dehydrated. Skin Mousse gives you that beautiful drink of water without making your face feel coated in cream.
